SAN CARLOS CITY CAMPUS: Achieving Success and Building Progress through the years

Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1479 promulgated by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos, the Pangasinan State University was created. The institution was conceived in the concept of an umbrella system, thus all college-level courses of state-owned institutions within the province of Pangasinan were integrated into the university system and that gave birth to PSU San Carlos City Campus which now caters to more than four thousand students who are currently enrolled in the nine different key programs being offered: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics (BTLED), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies (BSE-SS) and major in Filipino (BSE-FIL),  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) major in Financial, Marketing, and Human Resource Development Management,  Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA).
