On a blissful day, thirty-two dedicated PSU SCC students have been recognized for their hard work and commitment to their education. The said students have been selected to receive the Tertiary Education Subsidy and Tulong-Dunong Program Grants, providing them with much-needed financial assistance in pursuing their tertiary education, July 04, 2024, at PSU Lingayen – Main Campus’ Audio-Visual Room.
The grantees, who come from various backgrounds and fields of study, were chosen based on their academic performance, their involvement in extracurricular activities, and their demonstrated need for financial aid. The grants will cover a portion of their tuition fees, as well as provide additional support for their educational expenses.
In succor were the hardworking Deans from the SSAA units, represented by Dr. Rowena C. Villamil, PSU SCC – SSAA Dean.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀,” said Dr. Liza Lanuza-Quimson, PSU SCC – CED.
The financial grants, which aim to provide financial assistance to deserving students who need support, have been instrumental in helping disadvantaged students access quality education.
Through this program, PSU can ensure that no student is left behind due to financial constraints.
PSUnians expressed their gratitude for the support, stating that the assistance will enable them to focus on their studies and achieve their academic goals.

As PSU continues to prioritize the well-being and success of its students, initiatives such as the Tertiary Education Subsidy and Tulong-Dunong Program Grants play a crucial role in providing equitable access to education for all.
The university led by Dr. Elbert Mangan Galas, PSU President with Dr. Liza Lanuza-Quimson, San Carlos City Campus Executive Director remains committed to supporting its students in their academic journey and empowering them to reach their full potential.
