Through the years, Dr. Dexter R. Buted has been visionary and transformative to his stratagems in Pangasinan State University, making it a premier university in the region and in the ASEAN.
As a vital part of this thrust, an Open House Site Visit Activity is conducted to every campus in perduring development of the institution’s infrastructure, facilities, workforce, and quality services.
Being the third campus to be visited, PSU-SCC gladly welcomes Dr. Dexter R. Buted (PSU, President) together with the dynamic university officials: Dr. Manolito C. Manuel (VP, Academic & Student Affairs), Dr. Maria Corazon B. Puzon (VP, Planning & Finance Management), Dr. Macelo C. Gutierrez, Jr. (VP, Quality Assurance/ QMR), Dr. Elbert M. Galas (VP, Administration, and Linkages), Dr. Renato E. Salcedo (Director, Presidential Management & Liaison/PRPIO), Prof. Celeste T. Mercado (Director, Students & Alumni Affairs), Dr. Armando D. Junio (CED, Asingan), Dr. Liza L. Quimson (CED, Bayambang), Dr. Roy C. Ferrer (CED, Binmaley), Dr. Ian Evangelista (CED, Infanta), Dr. Randy Joy Ventayen (CED, Lingayen), Dr. Honorio L. Cascolan (CED, Urdaneta City), Dr. Phillip G. Queroda (CED, OUS), Dr. Billy T. Festijo (Director, Institutional Assessment & Accreditation), Ms. Evangeline O. Pesdacor ( Focal Person, Internal Audit System), Mr. Kimber Jun M. Fernandez (Director, Procurement Services), Mr. John F. Quinto (Director, Supply Management), Dr. Potenciano D. Conte Jr. (Director, General Services), and Dr. Thea Marie Flores, (Head, Medical and Dental Services) during the Open House Campus Tour of PSU-SCC, March 15, 2022.
The venture has started at the Learning Resource Center where university officials had a jentacular stint with the campus workforce headed by Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones (CED).
Moreover, officials have also graced the Kalachuchi Flower (Plumeria Rubra) cultivation at the adaxial part of the PSU SCC Campus Administrative Building for the #ProjectBloom (Kalachuchi Legacy Garden) of DRB.
Cogitatively, apart from its fragrance, the Kalachuchi plant embodies the ideals of University President Dexter R. Buted, representing Devotion which expresses deep love and loyalty; Resilience as the plant that produces plumeria flower blooms even after it has been uprooted; and Buoyancy displaying an optimistic and cheerful disposition.
To boot, officials peregrinate and inspect PSU-SCC buildings, offices, and laboratories for further development and improvement as a core stratagem of DRB in achieving success and building progress in the nine campuses.
Further, an assemblage is ushered at the MG Events for the president’s pronouncement of observations and results of the said open house site visit activity.
DRB accentuates the significance of commitment, taking initiative, branding, and competence in service delivery that as one PSU, “we shall continue perduring our brand for the future of every PSUnian”.
