PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management Program aims to prepare the graduates for a career in the specialized field of Human Resource Management which are essentially found in the manufacturing, marketing, service sectors, banking industries and others types of organizations whether locally or internationally, with respectable degree of credibility and integrity.
The BSBA-HRDM Program instills in the students the ability to lead and manage manpower by helping them acquire and develop the necessary skills and competencies by understanding the importance of team building, total quality management, communication, people skills and motivation in the organization to make them more competitive before they engage in strategic decisions in the business environment influenced by global competition.
Furthermore, HR assists line managers towards the right acquisition and development of skills and competencies of employees. HR gets involved in the administrative processes to ensure consistency in the handling and management of people. It focuses on the distinct functions of Human Resource Management like Job Organization and Information which involves job analysis, job design and job evaluation. Acquisition or procurement function which comprises of human resource planning, recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of employees. Maintenance function which encompasses the different phases such as orientation, physical working conditions, motivation, performance evaluation, compensation administration, benefits, services and management-labor relations. And the Development function which contains training and education, career planning and counseling.

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Development Management, the graduates, who are trained in a culture of discipline, credibility, integrity and excellence, must be able to:

Bachelor Business Administration major Marketing Management
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is a four-year program that prepares the students to be professional and socially responsible managers and entrepreneurs.
BSBA major in Marketing Management program prepares the graduate for careers in marketing, research, product management, sales, advertising and public relations. It aims to produce graduates who bring contemporary applied marketing skills and sound business management acumen to their organizations to stay competitive in a constantly changing business environment.
The program provides the students with opportunities to go beyond the classroom. The professional courses require the students to produce output-based projects such as marketing research and feasibility study which may also require fieldwork and interviews that will help them acquire the skills and competencies in the sales and marketing industry.
At the end of the program, the students will undergo practicum or work integrated learning where they can apply and enrich the skills and competencies they have acquired throughout the program.

Bachelor Office Administration
The Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program is a four-year course that prepares the students for a career in an outcome-focused, technology rich, professional environment. Courses in the curriculum are those that will thoroughly familiarize the students with current techniques in office practice and procedures, developments in office systems and technology, good team-working and management skills, and application of the principles of good human relations and communications to prepare them to be key players in day-to-day office operations. Lessons in writing routine reports and correspondence and speaking effectively to employers, employees, and the general public are provided in selected courses. The BSOA program also trains the students to work independently, without need for on-site supervision.
To ensure teaching effectiveness and the attainment of the goals and objectives of BSOA, outcomes-based teaching and learning and modern means of curriculum delivery that will expose the students to real world of administrative professionals’ tasks like simulation and cooperative education internship in office systems are used. Faculty members who are graduates of business courses and, if possible, holders of a Master’s degree in Business Education or a Master’s Degree in Business Administration are selected to manage the teaching-learning process.
The Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program was approved under the BOR No. 59. series 2010.

BTLED PROGRAM OFFERINGS
Program Description
Degree Name: Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) major in: Home Economics
Nature of the Field of Study
The BTLEd program is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips learners with adequate and relevant Competencies in the area of Technology and Livelihood Education, particularly for the TLE exploratory courses from Grades 4-8.
Program Goals
The BTLEd program aims to develop highly competent and motivated teachers in Technology and Livelihood Education for Grades 4-8. The technology livelihood education curriculum shall impart a body of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and experiences that will provide prospective Grade 4-8 EPP/TLE Teachers with the necessary competencies essential for effective teaching and at the same time are accredited TVET Trainors and Assessors.
Specific Professions/ Careers/ Occupation
After completion of all academic requirements of the program, graduates of the BTLEd should be able to qualify for the Licensure Examination for Teachers and practice the teaching profession in the field of Technology Livelihood Education as EPP Teachers for Grades 4-6 and/or TLE Teachers in Grades 7-8. Graduates will also qualify as TVET trainers and assessors after they have obtained the appropriate Certification. Graduates may also proceed to practice careers in various sectors of industry as entrepreneurs or as employees.
