
Pangasinan State University (PSU) San Carlos Campus joined Maybank Philippines for the โMaybank Campus Caravanโ on September 3, 2025, at the Audio Visual Room. The initiative is part of the latter’s Sustainability Program, designed to equip graduating students with vital knowledge and skills for financial literacy, first-job readiness, and sustainable living.
This collaboration was made possible through the leadership of ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐น๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ . ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐, University President, and ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ ๐. ๐ค๐๐ถ๐บ๐๐ผ๐ป, Campus Executive Director, whose strong commitment to student development ensures that PSU graduates are industry-driven professionals. Thus, it was specifically designed for the Business Administration and Office Administration students, led by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฃ. ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐, Chairperson of the said programs.
The event featured a series of talks for students by Maybank executives and managers led by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐บ๐๐ผ๐ป , Senior Vice President of Human Capital Head. ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ผ๐น๐ผ ๐ . ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ผ, Head of Virtual Banking, presented practical insights on financial literacy and the digital banking landscape. ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ผ ๐. ๐ฌ๐๐ท๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฐ๐ผ, Branch Manager of Lingayen (Pangasinan), and ๐ ๐. ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ป, Branch Manager of Urdaneta, discussed various bank products tailored to the needs of young professionals entering the workforce.
A highlight of the program was the Sustainability Presentation by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ง. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ, Head of Sustainability Management underscored the importance of responsible financial habits and sustainable practices in daily life.
Through this collaboration, PSU San Carlos Campus empowers its commitment to providing students with essential life skills, ensuring they are well-prepared to embrace the responsibilities of adulthood with financial confidence and sustainability in mind.
